I know I haven't been writing anything in the last 7-8 days.

Dunno, I just don't feel like writing.

Usually something has to grow upon me, until I find it useful to write down a line or two. This happens with regard to both serious and silly posts.
I said 'useful' cos it has a liberating effect on me.
